Edwrad Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros - 40 Day Dream

Um dos casos mais enigmáticos com que me deparei ultimamente. Edward Sharpe é uma figura criada pelo vocalista da banda Ima Robot (Alex Ebert), que pretende simbolizar a salvação da mente humana, embora passe o tempo a distrair-se com outras coisas.

Alex Ebert criou esta figura depois de uma série de maus acontecimentos na sua vida, pretendendo "to live in a more honest reaction to the truth of the moment, not be bound to certain behaviors by fear-based dogma".

Edward Sharpe quer trazer algo a este mundo enquanto luta com os seus conflitos interiores, e basta ver os video-clips de músicas como "Desert Song" para perceber que muita coisa se passa na cabeça deste homem. É assim com muitos de nós.
